Listowel Writers Week/Bord Gáis Energy Irish Book Awards Irish Poem of the Year 2017.

Adjudicator Richard Skinner, Director of the Fiction Programme at the Faber Academy had the unenviable task of choosing a shortlist of four poems from over 100 entries. 

‘Points’ by Amanda Bell.

‘Ledgwidge in Manchester’ by John McAuliffe.

‘Bride & Moth’ by Tara Bergin.

‘Seven Sugar Cubes’ by Clodagh Beresford Dunne. 

The shortlisted poems are now available for reading on writersweek.ie and remember to cast your vote at www.irishbookawards.ie before midnight on the 11th November.

Voting commences on the 2nd November 2017.
