Listowel Writers’ Week Announce Shortlisted Poetry Collections for the Pigott Poetry Prize 2015
Five Irish Poets were announced on RTEs Poetry Programme as finalists for the 2015 Pigott Poetry Prize.
Judges John Boland and Gillian Clarke will choose a winner and the €5,000 award will be presented to the overall winner at the Opening Ceremony of the Listowel Writers’ festival on the Wednesday 27th May 2015.
The five poets and collections on the list are:
Ciaran Carson – From Elsewhere
Caoilinn Hughes – Gathering Evidence
Ger Reidy – Before Rain
Paul Muldoon – One Thousand Things Worth Knowing
Peter Sirr – The Rooms
