Pull Down a Horseman enacts a private meeting between Patrick Pearse and James Connolly on whether and when to go ahead with the Rising. It was first produced in 1966 to commemorate the anniversary of the 1916 Rising.
Gale Day was commissioned by the Abbey Theatre and RTE to commemorate the Patrick Pearse Centenary.
