Tom French is an award-winning Irish poet whose eight collections are published by The Gallery Press, most recently The Convent of Mercy (2025). He lives in County Meath where he works in the county library service. He has received the Forward Prize for Best First Collection, the Pigott Poetry Prize, Arts Council bursaries, the Dermot Healy Award and the O’Shaughnessy Award for Poetry.

 

Alvy Carragher is a Dublin-based poet whose collection What Remains the Same was published by The Gallery Press in 2024, with The Only Fear I’ve Ever Had Is Standing Still forthcoming in 2026. She is the recipient of an Arts Council Literary Bursary, Poetry Ireland’s 2025 Eavan Boland Award, the 2026 David Whyte Poet in Residence Award, and the 2026 Listowel Writers’ Week Single Poem Award.

 

John McAuliffe from Listowel, County Kerry, is the author of six poetry collections published by The Gallery Press, most recently National Theatre (2024). He is Professor of Poetry at the University of Manchester’s Centre for New Writing, Associate Publisher at Carcanet Press, and co-editor of PN Review and The Manchester Review.
