The 20th annual Ennis Book Club Festival will take place from 6-8 March 2026. For two decades, readers, writers, and book lovers from near and far have gathered in Ennis to share stories, spark conversations, and celebrate the joy of reading.

Just two of the many events from the programme are:

Poetry Reading with Karen J McDonnell, Erin Fornoff & Molly Twomey in conversation with Sarah Clancy
4.00pm, Saturday 6 March, De Valera Library, Ennis
Free admission (Sold Out)

Chic to be Sad by Molly Twomey explores a young woman’s report from the front lines of experience. There’s a sense of the aftermath of illness and the poems are infused with physical and emotional vulnerability.
