The Gallery Press is delighted to announce our fourth series of online poetry workshops by Gallery authors: John FitzGerald, Peter Sirr and Grace Wilentz.
These courses, for Emerging Writers, will provide an ideal platform for participants to explore the creative process of writing under the guiding eye of an experienced, published poet in the company of a community of similar writers. Attention will also be paid to the procedures toward publication in magazine and book form.
We invite submissions from writers of all backgrounds and particularly encourage and welcome underrepresented voices. Application is open to Irish poets (resident anywhere) and to poets currently resident in Ireland.
Applicants must be over 18.
Previously successful applicants are not excluded.
Each online poetry workshop is made up of four one-and-a-half-hour sessions which will take place once a week. A fee of €40.00* for your chosen workshop will be payable when a place has been offered and you have accepted the offer. Fees must be paid in full within three days of acceptance.

Places will be offered based on work submitted. Please state which workshops interest you, in order of preference. Please see application instructions on your chosen workshop (link below). Submissions should ideally be in Word or pdf format. (Please include all three of your poems in one document.)
Applications for these online poetry workshops can be made from August 6 for all workshops. We expect these workshops to fill quickly and advise early application. Booking will close on September 6, 2024.
