Announcement of The Royal Society of Literature 2024 Fellows and Honorary Fellows.
On Thursday 11 July, at an event held at the Garden Museum, the Royal Society of Literature in London announced the appointment of 42 new Fellows and we congratulate Vona Groarke on being one of that 42.
Fellows are nominated by peers and elected by the RSL Council of writers – their governing Board. Being elected a Fellow of the RSL is a lifetime honour. This role gives Fellows the opportunity to support other writers, readers and the future of literature.
Vona divides her time between Sligo and Cambridge where she is the current Writer in Residence at St John’s College, Cambridge.
