Hosted by Poetry Ireland, this seminar is an exploration of issues raised in relation to the Irish poetic canon and specifically with the issue of ‘Missing Voices: Irish Women Poets of the 18th-20th Centuries’. With presentations on poets running throughout the day, the seminar will culminate with a panel discussion chaired by poet and The Irish Times poetry critic John McAuliffe, a poetry reading with actor Eleanor Methven and a closing reception.
