Vona Groarke and Adrian Duncan grew up in the same locality in County Longford. They share a visual curiosity and perception which they explore and manifest in various forms. This event will be the first time they come together to consider and talk about what draws them to express themselves as they do.

Vona Groarke lives between Ireland and Manchester. Her latest book is Link (2021). Recent others Double Negative (2020) shortlisted for the Irish Times Poetry Now Award, and Four Sides Full (2016). She is a recipient of the Hennessey Hall of Fame for Outstanding Contribution to Literature (2017) and is a member of Aosdána.
Adrian Duncan is based in Ireland and Berlin. He is an artist and award-winning writer. Midfield Dynamo (2021) is his first short story collection. His novels are Sabbatical in Leipzig (2020) and Love Notes from a Berlin Building Site (2019). He was awarded the 2020 Inaugural John McGahern Annual Book Prize.
